I’m never sure what to make of celebrating the anniversary of a record’s release. Maybe it just makes me feel old. Usually though once I listen to it again, sometimes for the first time in years, the memories flood back and a warm nostalgia sweeps away any negative emotions.
This was never more so the case when the 20th anniversary edition of “Muzik Xpress” by X-Press 2 landed. It’s just such a seminal UK house classic that you can’t help be feel good!
The guys at Skint have decided to re-release the track (originally released on Junior Boys Own) and included two remixes in the package including a brilliant rework by uber producers Eats Everything.
